Arcadia Farm’s expansive 625 acres offer up both the dazzling elegance of its Historic Shelby Manor and the pastoral simplicity of its Arcadia Wedding Barn.
The manor, built in 1836 by Isaac Shelby, Kentucky’s first governor, is nestled in beautifully manicured green space, all gated for privacy. Its dazzling neoclassical façade and four square-set brick chimneys greet your guests in style, and as they come inside they’ll be enchanted by the cut-glass chandeliers and richly polished woodwork of days gone by. Pioneer Playhouse
The Shelter House, Pioneer Playhouse’s indoor theatre, makes an excellent gathering place for events, including weddings.
The facility is available to rent in March, April, May; September, October, November. Shelter House rental includes central heat and air, and holds up to 300 guests.
Renters may come a few days early to set up, for an additional fee. Tables and chairs are available as well as the stage, stage lighting and a basic sound board. Pioneer Playhouse does not provide decorations or microphone equipment. No candles or flammable items may be used in decorations.
