This is going to be one of the best races in Central Kentucky and we can’t wait to see you there! For this event we will be partnering with the Danville-Boyle County Parks and Recreation Department for a 4th of July evening race happening right before the fireworks explode over Millennium Park. The race will start at twilight (8:30pm) with a plan for participants to cross the finish line right as the fireworks are about to go off. This will be a nighttime themed race and we will be giving away glow sticks, we will also have glow paint at the start and finish line so everyone can be as creative as they like. There will be smoke machines and black lights at the start and finish line to make for some fantastic finish line photos brought to you by none other than A Runner’s Mom & More Photography. We are partnering with the Parks and Recreation department to make the 4th of July event a party where we will have numerous food trucks, eight large inflatables/bounce houses, games and vendors out before the race lasting until the firework show finishes.
