Mel Hankla, a noted writer, collector, craftsman, researcher and speaker on Kentucky heritage and an authority on the history of the Kentucky Longrifle, will present “Into the Bluegrass” on Thursday evening, May 11, at the Art Center of the Bluegrass.  Sponsored by the St. Asaph Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with light refreshments and the presentation at 6:15 p.m..  Tickets are $20 and can be reserved by phoning 859-324-9766.  Limited tickets will be available at the door.  All proceeds will benefit historic preservation.
