When Jennifer and her family moved to Danville in 2012, she was so inspired by the spirit of the community that she changed career paths from biotech research to local advocacy and economic development. That same year, she joined the CVB as executive director.
Jennifer is responsible for marketing local businesses, attractions and events in order to encourage visitors and business travelers to choose Boyle County as a destination. In addition, she works with state and local governments to ensure the county’s tourism efforts are supported and endorsed. Some of her accomplishments include; Leadership Kentucky and Leadership Boyle County graduate. Jennifer is a Certified Kentucky Tourism Professional with certification in UK Institute of Economic Development, Harwood Institute Public Innovator, EKU Non-Profit Advisory Board, and Kentucky Kernel.
Born in the Midwest, Jamee moved to Kentucky at age ten, then to Danville during her high school years. While Jamee’s background are rooted in criminal justice, corrections, and counseling; her appreciation for the area’s diverse culture, rich history and sense of community led her to a career change with the CVB.
Jamee’s job is to coordinate day-to-day office management, oversee visitors center/gift shop, and to promote tourism and the historical significance of Danville and Boyle County. She serves on several boards/committees including; Bluegrass Tourism Region Board, Airfield Community Auxiliary Board, BBQ Festival planning committee, Soul of 2nd Street Festival committee, Bourbon Chase planning committee, and as chair of the Historically Bold Tours committee. Jamee is graduate of 2018-19 Leadership Boyle County and currently serves on the steering committee.

Several dedicated groups work together to spread the word about Danville and Boyle County, each doing its part to connect local businesses, government entities, event planners and travelers with the resources they need.
Heart of Danville
Heart of Danville is an independent, non-profit organization devoted to promoting downtown Danville as a unique and vibrant place for business, residential life and entertainment. We are a membership-based organization focusing on promoting downtown Danville, advocating for our members and producing free events for the community.
Main Street Perryville
The mission of Main Street Perryville is to stimulate the economic growth of Perryville’s downtown business district while preserving and protecting the historic integrity of our community. We are leaders in developing and maintaining Perryville as a regional center for commerce, tourism, education, health, historic preservation and quality of life.
Chamber of Commerce
The Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce gets the word out to potential residents, businesspeople and visitors about Danville. We host networking events and do community service and mentoring for the next generation of local business leaders. Our focus is on preserving the area’s special history and charm while promoting business and tourism to build a strong economy.
An outreach organization, Develop Danville partners with economic and governmental entities to market Danville as a business base and to smooth the way for businesses wanting to settle in the area. From site selection to incentives facilitation to regulatory guidance to workforce training and more, Develop Danville is here to welcome newcomers to the Danville business community.
