When Jennifer and her family moved to Danville in 2012, she was so inspired by the spirit of the community that she changed career paths from biotech research to local advocacy and economic development. That same year, she joined the CVB as executive director.

Jennifer is responsible for marketing local businesses, attractions and events in order to encourage visitors and business travelers to choose Boyle County as a destination. In addition, she works with state and local governments to ensure the county’s tourism efforts are supported and endorsed. Some of her accomplishments include; Leadership Kentucky and Leadership Boyle County graduate.  Jennifer is a Certified Kentucky Tourism Professional with certification in UK Institute of Economic Development, Harwood Institute Public Innovator, EKU Non-Profit Advisory Board, and Kentucky Kernel.  

Jamee Peyton

Born in the Midwest, Jamee moved to Kentucky at age ten, then to Danville during her high school years. While Jamee’s background are rooted in criminal justice, corrections, and counseling; her appreciation for the area’s diverse culture, rich history and sense of community led her to a career change with the CVB.

Jamee’s job is to coordinate day-to-day office management, oversee visitors center/gift shop, and to promote tourism and the historical significance of Danville and Boyle County. She serves on several boards/committees including; Bluegrass Tourism Region Board, Airfield Community Auxiliary Board, BBQ Festival planning committee, Soul of 2nd Street Festival committee, Bourbon Chase planning committee, and as chair of the Historically Bold Tours committee.  Jamee is graduate of 2018-19 Leadership Boyle County and currently serves on the steering committee.

We host networking events and do community service and mentoring for the next generation of local business leaders.
