Born in the Midwest, Jamee moved to Kentucky at age ten, then to Danville during her high school years. While Jamee’s background are rooted in criminal justice, corrections, and counseling; her appreciation for the area’s diverse culture, rich history and sense of community led her to a career change with the CVB. Jamee has served the Boyle County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau since 2016 in the positions of Visitor’s Center staff, Digital Media Coordinator, Visitor’s Center Coordinator and Assistant Director.
Jamee’s job is to coordinate day-to-day office management, oversee visitors center/gift shop, and to promote tourism and the historical significance of Danville and Boyle County. She serves on several boards/committees including; Bluegrass Tourism Region Board, Tourism, Historic Preservation and Recreation Advisory Committee (THRAC), Airfield Community Auxiliary Board, BBQ Festival planning committee, Great American Brass Band Festival planning committee, Soul of 2nd Street Festival committee, Bourbon Chase planning committee, and as chair of the Historically Bold Tours committee. Jamee is graduate of 2018-19 Leadership Boyle County and currently serves on the steering committee.
