Jeff Jewel
Jeff Jewel Interim Executive Director

Jeff is a native of historic Vincennes, Indiana where at only 18 years old he served as Tourism Director of the Northwest Territorial Capital State Historic Site while attending Vincennes University where he earned an Associate’s degree in Earth Science. Jeff went on to get his Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University and a Certification in Public Management from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Prior to moving to Danville in 2018 Jeff served as Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Director in Cannon Beach, Oregon, where he also served on the Oregon Coast Visitors Association Board of Directors representing the North Coast region. Besides his work here as Interim Director at CVB, Jeff is also the Executive Director of the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce and Market Manager of the Boyle County Farmers Market.

Candace Arnold
Candace ArnoldVisitors Center & Gift Shop Manager

Candace is a Boyle County native who graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relation. She is a former intern and docent for McDowell House Museum and is passionate about Kentucky history and heritage. When she isn’t working you may find her walking her beagle Clooney along a scenic path in the Perryville Battlefield or a trial in the Wildlife Refuge.
