YOUR DANVILLE-BOYLE COUNTY CVB TOURISM COMMISSION
We love our little corner of Kentucky…and we share that love by telling the world all that historically bold Danville and Boyle County have to offer businesses, residents and sightseers. Meet some of us below, and let us know what we can do to make your Danville-Boyle County experience a delightful one!
After more than four years working as the Lawrenceburg-Anderson County Tourism Commission’s executive director, Kendall was hired in December 2021 as executive director of the Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Kendall is a native of Madisonville and attended Western Kentucky University. After graduating with a print journalism degree, Kendall worked for more than 20 years at the Dothan Eagle newspaper in Dothan, Alabama, where he started out as a reporter and worked his way up to become the managing editor.
When Kendall and his wife Shannon decided to return home to Kentucky that also included the desire for a career change and tourism was the perfect fit. Kendall played a crucial role in establishing Lawrenceburg’s first tourism office and worked to help promote and grow all of the tourism-related events and locations throughout Anderson County. He’s excited to now be doing the same in Danville and Boyle County
