May through October
Noon - 4 pm
The maternal side of President Lincoln's family has been largely neglected by historians, and the Forkland Lincoln Museum attempts to remedy that with documents and other records. In the museum are photographs of family members, Lincoln artifacts, and authentic newspapers about the death of Abraham Lincoln. Other artifacts in the museum depict the lives of Forkland residents such as Lucey and Henry Sparrow. There are also extensive genealogical records of many families who lived in and around the Forkland area. The gift shop adjacent to the Museum has locally published historical and genealogical books for sale.
We invite you to come and experience what life was like in Forkland's past.
