Brittney Adams is a Danville native with diverse experience in marketing and sales. As owner and operator of a local wedding and events venue, Warrenwood Manor, Brittney focuses on attracting couples from out of town and out of state to Danville, Kentucky. Graduating from Boyle County High School, she went on to earn a degree in Communication and Business Management from Georgetown College. Following her undergraduate work, Brittney earned a Master’s in Communication with an emphasis in organizational communication, as well as a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Carolina State University. Brittney is passionate about and dedicated to preserving the historic nature of the Danville Boyle County area, while encouraging diverse economic growth.
Shane White, B&B/Hotel/Motel, 02/2018
Owner/Operator Stay Over Danville
Shane White works for PepsiCo and serves as Director, Supply Chain Operations and focuses on driving productivity throughout the organization. Shane has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama. Additionally, Shane owns property in downtown Danville that provides both retail space on Main St. and a deluxe loft apartment for short-term stays. By creating Stay Over Danville LLC, he has pioneered the Airbnb option for Danville visitors based on his experiences and observations as a frequent business traveler. In his spare time, Shane enjoys providing entertainment as a musician and vocalist. He and his wife Karlynn enjoy boating on Herrington Lake, and they reside in downtown Danville.
Jerry Houck, Restaurant, Vice Chair 04/2019
Owner/ Operator Cue on Main, Nellie Burton’s Sports Bar and Steakhouse
Jerry Houck, a native of Boyle County, lives in historic Perryville. His primary area of expertise is the food and hospitality industry and has created the Cue Hospitality Partnership. The partnership includes several restaurants, a catering company, and guest houses. Cue on Main is an upscale restaurant that includes a specialty event and catering company in Downtown Danville. In August 2016, Jerry opened Nellie Burton’s Steakhouse and Sports Bar, an upscale steakhouse with a casual sports bar. Jerry has recently expanded his services to include overnight guest houses throughout Boyle County. In early summer of 2017, The Historic 1860 Boyle House in Perryville is expected to be complete and will feature several overnight guest suites, another restaurant, an event center, and a bourbon and wineshoppe. In addition to his Board position on the CVB, Jerry is also a Board Member with the Kentucky Restaurant Association and serves on the City Council in Perryville.
Wendy White, City of Danville, Beautification, Brass Band /2019

Wendy White has an MBA from Ohio State with a focus in Operations and Logistics. Her undergraduate degree was from Clemson University with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Communication Studies. She worked at Lexmark for 10 years, serving ultimately as a Senior Manager in Business Development. She had leadership and management roles in Worldwide Market Research and Competitive Intelligence, Supply Chain, and North American Distribution as well as management of an International team while living in Singapore for four years. For fun, Wendy also did corporate and private event planning.
Melissa Fighmaster, Hotel/Motel/B&B
GM, Holiday Inn Express
Melissa is a resident of the Danville community and is the General Manager of the new Holiday Inn Express & Suites. She has twenty-five years of experience in sales and marketing and sixteen years of experience in the hotel industry. She has worked for several full-service hotels in Lexington, Kentucky including the Embassy Suites, Hyatt Regency, Hilton Lexington Suites, and the Clarion Hotel. Melissa has a son and daughter, two grandbabies and one on the way! In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening and culinary art.
Brittany Henderson, Hotel/Motel/B&B
GM, Red Roof Inn
Brittany has been in the hotel industry for 5 years. She got into the hotel business obtaining a job at the Comfort Inn after my son was born. She moved to management within 6 months of being a Guest Services representative. Since then she has helped train staff, been involved in numerous renovations, and come up with staffing plans etc for our other properties.
